PAYMENT

Payment for day trips: Payment for all day trips should be made in full at the time of booking, Vision Getaways accepts, money transfers, Mastercard and Visa debit and credit cards, all credit & debit card transactions are free of charge. We do not accept cash or cheques.

Cancellation of Daytrips: Should a guest wish to cancel a day trip for whatever reason if cancellation is made 30 days prior to the tour a full credit of the value of that tour will be made in the form of a voucher to be redeemed of any future trip or tour. If cancellation is made between 30 and 7 days before the tour a 50% credit of the value of that tour will be made in the form of a voucher to be redeemed against any future trip of tour. Finally if a cancellation is made under 7 days before a tour the full cost of that tour will be forfeited. For any alteration to any day trip booking ie change of trip, change of guest name etc Vision Getaways will charge an admin fee of £5.00


Payment for UK & European Short Breaks & Holidays: A Deposit of £50.00pp is required, for European River Cruises a Deposit of £75.00pp is required & for European Ocean Cruises a Deposit of £100.00pp is required (unless otherwise stated) at the time of booking. ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Approximately 12 weeks prior to departure date the balance will be due. The exact date for final payment will be on the deposit receipt. No reminder will be sent. Vision Getaways reserves the right to cancel the booking if final payment is not made by the due date. All monies held will be covered by insolvency Insurance for the financial protection of booked guests. (See below)


Travel Insurance

It is a condition of booking with Vision Getaways that you take out appropriate Travel Insurance for foreign travel. This should cover theft and loss of personal items, medical matters, and on rare occasions the repatriation of guests in the event of death or serious injury. It should also be in place to cover costs in the event of holiday cancellation due to illness, Government Travel Restrictions, Foreign & Commonwealth Office Travel Advisory or EU Travel Restrictions. Therefore Vision Getaways requires proof of insurance within 28 days of the booking being taken. If the holiday booking is made within 28 days of the travel date Vision Getaways requires proof of insurance at the time of booking. Failure to supply proof of insurance within the stated times will result in the cancellation of the booking and forfeiting of all monies paid!


Terms & Conditions

Wearing a seat belt is required by law. Vision Getaways operate a non-smoking policy on our coach trips and alcoholic drinks are not to be consumed on board. No pets are allowed (except Guide Dogs, by arrangement). Bookings are only accepted if payment is made in full at the time of booking. Children’s fares, are available on some but not all tours to those between 3 and 15 years old, inclusive and who are accompanied by an adult (Please call for details). Fares shown include entrance/admission fees only where stated. Vision Getaways will make every effort to run all trips as advertised, but reserve the right to alter or withdraw any trip. Normally trips will operate provided there is a minimum of 15 paying passengers. In the event of cancellation by Vision Getaways, passengers will be notified by telephone or e-mail, a credit note for any ticket monies paid will be given or funds held can be transferred to another trip of the passenger’s choice. Please ensure that you are at the boarding point 10 minutes before the stated departure time. Refunds will not be given to passengers who fail to turn up or arrive late. Equally during the tour passengers will be given a return time, the coach will leave at that time and any passengers missing the departure time will be responsible for all costs and arrangement of travel home. Vision Getaways reserves the right to cancel or terminate, part of, or all of any customers ongoing tour, short break river cruise or ocean cruise in the event of disruptive behaviour that may cause annoyance or discomfort to any other guest. In the event of said disruption the offending guest will be responsible for all travel back to their home address and no part refund or refund will be given.


TRAVEL REGULATION INSOLVENCY PROTECTION

Vision Getaways is a company committed to customer satisfaction and consumer financial protection. We are therefore pleased to announce that, at no extra cost to you, and in accordance with ''The Package Travel, Package Tours Regulations 1992'' all passengers booking with Vision Getaways are fully insured for the initial deposit, and subsequently the balance of monies paid as detailed in your booking confirmation form. The policy will also include repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Vision Getaways. This insurance has been arranged by Towergate Chapman Stevens through Zurich Insurance PLC.


Claims

In the unlikely event of Insolvency, you must Inform Towergate Chapman Stevens immediately on +44 (0) 1932 334140 or by email at [email protected] . Please ensure you retain the booking confirmation form as evidence of cover and value.

Policy exclusions: This policy will not cover any monies paid for Travel Insurance or any claim relating to Air Flights. Please ensure the Company you have booked with has the appropriate CAA / ATOL Bonds in place.
